Hello! I’m Nerel, the face and hands behind the pressed florals you’ve seen here.

Growing up, my mother would always notice beautiful pieces of nature as we were driving, walking, hiking, etc. She would talk about it, drawing my attention to that beauty. In some ways, I think I’ve always been like that. But as I’ve started pressing flowers, I’ve become much more like her in that way - as I’m en route somewhere, I’m always noticing the flowers blooming on the side of the roads and making mental notes of where to go back to so I can pick flowers to press. I’ve learned what flowers to look for at certain times of the year. I’ve fallen in love with the stories that nature tells and the hope it reminds me of, as beauty blooms in some of the most unlikely places.

I absolutely love pressing flowers, knowing they will serve as a reminder of a beautiful wedding day, a beautiful and memorable life lived, a monumental season of life, or simply (and maybe not so simply at all) help create a beautiful home for people.
