The piece was placed on deckled edged paper which is highlighted against the green mount. The gold frame was found in a local charity shop and adds to the beautiful story these flowers tell. The frame is fitted for hanging on walls. My floral quilts are inspired by many generations of women in my family who would sew many beautiful quilts.
